Plan your trip to Warsaw with a local tourist guide!

Warsaw in one day: the Old Town and the Royal Route

Let’s walk along this most beautiful part of the Royal Route to reach the heart of Old Warsaw. This is a unique street with an extraordinary history, which almost magically connects the present with the
past. This is where the road leading to the former capital began, along which
representative palaces of the magnates, the royal family and magnificent temples were built.

This journey will allow you to learn about the fascinating past of Krakowskie Przedmieście.

We will stop at the Royal Castle – this is an extremely important stop on our trip. And then we will immerse ourselves in the alleys of the Old Town. Because how can you not see a real pearl of the capital? A place that captivates with its colorful tenement houses and the unique atmosphere of its narrow streets, and at the same time that is vibrant and full of noise.

Warsaw in one day: the Royal Lazienki Park and Wilanow Palace

These two former royal residences are among the most beautiful and historically important places in Warsaw. The summer residence of King Jan III delights with its grandeur, architecture and as our guests say: “it is completely different here from Warsaw: silence, wonderful nature and a beautiful palace”. A guided tour of the palace and the royal gardens will show the beauty of this baroque palace and park establishment. Of course, the heroes of the story will also be the most important hosts of the Wilanów estates:
King Jan III Sobieski, Queen Maria Casimiera, as well as subsequent owners from the
most powerful magnate families.

We will also visit another royal residence – the Royal Łazienki. Here too, the guide
will tell you the history of this beautiful place. Łazienki was a royal residence, the
tsars’ favourite park, a place of important political events, and the seat of Poland’s leaders. And for
Warsaw residents, their favorite place to relax – one of the first parks opened to the public

Warsaw in one day: other tourist attractions

These two former royal residences are among the most beautiful and historically important
There are really many places in Warsaw that you can visit in one day with a guide.

Let’s mention a few of them: the Jewish cemetery on Okopowa Street. This is an absolutely magical place, one of the largest Warsaw necropolises, established in 1806, then still outside the borders of Warsaw. The cemetery miraculously escaped war destruction – it is one of the most important monuments of Warsaw.
You absolutely have to visit the Stare Powązki cemetery, the most famous and most magnificent
Catholic cemetery in Warsaw. Nowhere in Poland will you find so many tombs of writers, artists,
scientists, politicians – people who created our history.
Let’s visit other districts of Warsaw: in Mokotów to the Królikarnia Palace standing
among beautiful park greenery and surrounded by sculptures, including Xawerego Dunikowski, the Geological Museum
– where the youngest will be greeted by the dinosaur Dyzio, or maybe the Museum of Polish Military Technology –
a place for fans of military items. In Powiśle, the most important attraction for younger and older children will undoubtedly be a visit to the Copernicus Science Centre.

There are really many attractions and it may turn out that Warsaw in one day with a guide
will leave you wanting more. Therefore, if possible, it is worth planning another visit to the capital or devoting a few days to sightseeing in Warsaw with a guide.
